Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Embe, Namibia, Meke, Nanunde, Angutua, South Sudan

In November, 2013 Evangelist Simon Kundu and his 9 person evangelism team traveled to Embe, Namibia, Meke, Nanunde, and Angutua, South Sudan. The team began the trip on November 14 and ended the trip on December 13.

The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 65% of the new believers had been animists, and 5% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Lingala language to mainly the Baka, Avokaya, and Mundu tribes. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 100 bibles were distributed in the Lingala language.

Discipleship training was conducted on the topic, "God is Good". The main passages used in this teaching were Nahum 1:7; Deuteronomy 32:4; Luke 6:35; Psalm 86:5, 107:1, 145:8-9; James 1:17; 1 John 4:8; John 1:18; Jeremiah 9:24; and Exodus 34:6.
