Evangelism & Discipleship Training Trip – Naam, Meke, Nanunde, Embe, South Sudan

In November, 2012 Pastor Augustine Taban and his 9 person evangelism team traveled to Naam, Meke, Nanunde, and Embe, South Sudan. The team began the trip on November 15 and ended the trip on December 12.

The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 60% of the new believers had been animists, and 5% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Lingala language to mainly the Baka, Mundu, and Avokaya tribes. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 100 bibles were distributed in the Lingala language.

Discipleship training was conducted on the topic, "The Message of Reconciliation". The main passages used in this teaching were 2nd Corinthians 5:19.
