Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Kuajok and Surrounding Villages, Sudan
In November, 2009 Pastor John Abudalah and his 6 person evangelism team traveled north to Kuajok and Surrounding Villages, Sudan. The team left on November 20 and returned on December 22.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 70% of the new believers had been animists, and 10% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Dinka language to mainly the Dinka tribe. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 200 Dinka bibles were distributed.
Discipleship training was conducted on “The Work of the Holy Spirit.” Some of the works of the Holy Spirit are listed below:
- The Holy Spirit glorifies Christ-John 16:14
- The Holy Spirit reveals the truth about God-John 16:13
- The Holy Spirit helps bring us to repentance and faith in Christ-John 16:8
- The Holy Spirits is the witness of our acceptance as children of God-Romans 8:14-17
- The Holy Spirit abides in the believer-Romans 8:9-11
- The Holy Spirit helps us with faith-2 Corinthians 4:13
- The Holy Spirit guides us-Romans 8:14
- The Holy Spirit renews us-John 3:8; Titus 3:5
- The Holy Spirit leads us to holiness-2 Thessalonians 2:13
- The Holy Spirit intercedes for us-Romans 8:26
- The Holy Spirit teaches us to pray-Romans 8:15, 26, 27
- The Holy Spirit leads us to bear fruit-Galatians 5:22
- The Holy Spirit binds all believers into one body-1 Corinthians 12:13
- The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts-1 Corinthians 12:11
- The Holy Spirit works out our sanctification-John 16:13-15, 2 Thessalonians 2:13
