Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Tortin, Bahr Naam, Faraksika, Bahr Olo, Mambe, Dorolili, Sudan
In June, 2009 Pastor Martin Lumori and his 9 person evangelism team traveled northwest to Tortin, Bahr Naam, Faraksika, Bahr Olo, Mambe, and Dorolili, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on June 9 and returned on July 15.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 60% of the new believers had been animists, and 10% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Lingala language to mainly the Baka and Mundu tribes. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 400 bibles were distributed in the Lingala language.
Discipleship training was based on the following topics:
- Authority of Scripture - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- Fellowship With God and Other Believers - 1 John 1:3
- Witnessing for Jesus - 1 Peter 3:15
- The Obedient Christian - John 14:21
