Evangelism and Discipleship Training Trip – Raga, Khor Buga, Gossinga, Katta, Boro, Sudan
In April, 2009 Evangelist Michael Malish and his 9 person evangelism team traveled northwest to Raga, Khor Buga, Gossinga, Katta, and Boro, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on April 15 and returned on May 17.
The results of what God did through the evangelism team are listed below:

Approximately 70% of the new believers had been animists, and 20% had been Muslims. The JESUS Film was shown in the Sudanese Arabic language to mainly the Dinka and Darfurian refugee tribes. One new church was planted in Khor Buga, and one new church was planted in Gossinga. Follow-up of the new believers will be done by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Sudan Pentecostal Church, and the Episcopal Church of Sudan. A total of 200 bibles were distributed with 100 in the Sudanese Arabic language and 100 in the Dinka language.
Discipleship training was based on the following topics:
- Assurance of Salvation - 1 John 5:11-12
- Assurance of Forgiveness - 1 John 1:9
- Assurance of God’s Assistance - Hebrews 4:16
- Assurance of Victory - 1 Corinthians 10:13
- Assurance of the Indwelling Holy Spirit - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
