Evangelism Trip Bangolo, Moba, Diko, and Lokoya, Sudan
In July, 2003 Evangelist Johnson Sebit and his 9 person evangelism team traveled north to Bangolo, Moba, Diko, and Lokoya, Sudan. The team left Yei, Sudan on July 14 and returned on July 28. The JESUS Film was shown in the Moru language. During this evangelism trip a total of 4,000 people were born again as new believers in Jesus. Approximately 70% of the new believers had been animists. The Moru tribe was primarily reached during this trip.
The team had major travel problems. The Tore Wandi bridge could not be crossed by our vehicle, so the team spent a lot of their time walking and carrying the equipment and Bibles on their heads. We were very encouraged by the determination God gave the team to reach the lost for Christ.
Regarding follow-up, some of the new believers were handed over to the Episcopal Church of Sudan. One new Presbyterian church was planted in Bangolo. The evangelism team distributed 300 Bibles in the Moru language to born again believers who could read.
The breakdown of expenditures for this evangelism trip are as follows:
| Medicine | $10 |
| Fuel for the Truck | $150 |
| Pay for Truck Driver | $30 |
| Pay for the Evangelists (10 x $45) | $450 |
| Food and accommodations for Evangelists | $620 |
| 300 Moru language Bibles | $1,500 |
| TOTAL | $2,760 |
