Completed Projects
Evangelism Trip – Adjumani, Uganda

In May of 2002 the eight member evangelism team shown below crossed the White Nile River and went into northern Uganda. They went to share the Gospel with the displaced Sudanese refugees in the Adjumani camps. They visited two camps. The Mire camp is mostly occupied by the Nuer and Dinka tribes. The Alere camp is mostly occupied by tribes from the Equatoria province of Sudan. Each of these camps has a population of about 25,000 people. Due to a lack of communication with camp authorities, our team was limited to showing the JESUS Film only on Church premises. Still, by God’s grace, our team was able to lead 650 people to Christ over a four day period. Most of these people accepted Christ through the Jesus Film. Some were lead to Christ from person-to-person witnessing.
